If I'd had my way we'd be carrying the FN 509 midsize MRD. The glock will cure some of my complaints but also generate new ones. Sadly, it's on it's way out to be replaced with a Glock 19.
There's other guns I can shoot our requal with faster and more accurately but this gun has given me great reason to trust it's reliability. I'm not a big fan of the slide release either as I have to be far more careful with this gun than others to make sure I don't ride it with my thumb. I don't like the mag release but I can make it work. The lem trigger is an improvement over stock but still ok. I shoot it well even though I'm not a huge fan of it's ergonomics. It's the pistol I have the most faith in it's reliability. It's not my favorite gun but it might still be my preferred gun for duty.
